Mama Liz's in Stamford has been voted as Pub of the Year 2010 by the members of the Peterborough Branch of CAMRA. The presentation will be held on Wednesday 24th February at about 8.30pm.

Elgoods Brewery Award
Congratulations to Elgoods Brewery who have been declared Brewer of the Year by the Castle Rock pub and brewing company. The award was presented for "outstanding choice and consistent quality".

'Meet the Brewer' night at the Swiss Cottage
Monday 23rd November - Swiss Cottage Grove Street, Woodston Everards head brewer will be on hand in the evening to give a crowd involving presentation. Various Everards Beers will be provided Free of Charge. Tickets are £2 to cover food on the night

Awards for Golden Newt
Elgoods Golden Newt recently won the Eastern Region Champion Bottle Beer Competition held by SIBA and was thus entered into the International Beer Challenge held in Germany, the world's biggest bottled beer competition. Congratulations to Elgoods who took the Bronze Medal with Golden Newt.

Rose and Crown, March
The Rose and Crown in St Peters Road, March has recently been awarded 5 stars for food hygene by Fenland District Council and was a finalist in the new business catagory at the Fenland Enterprise Business Awards 2009

A new brewery has been constructed in nearby Castor. Two beers have been brewed.

Tobie Norris, Stamford in Competition Finals
The Tobie Norris has made it through to the finals of the Great British Pub Awards organised by the licensed trade paper, the Morning Advertiser. It has been named the Best Freehouse in East Anglia and now goes through to the National Finals.
